Arbella Studios is an LA-based film production company founded by producer/director Brian Tetsuro Ivie. As a collective of filmmakers and activists, Arbella specializes in religious and sociopolitical films and documentaries. In 2019, Arbella released the documentary feature, “Emanuel,” in collaboration with Academy Award Winner Viola Davis, Stephen Curry, and Emmy Award Winner Mariska Hargitay. Most recently, Arbella released the acclaimed documentary short film, “Cancer Alley,” which was featured on Director’s Library, Vimeo Staff Picks, Nowness, and Short of The Week.
